Use case · Agent identity & containment
Identifying a trusted agent from a rogue one
Any process can claim to be an agent. Without cryptographic proof of identity you have no way to distinguish a legitimate agent from one that’s been hijacked, cloned or compromised. FIOR makes that distinction before anything executes.
The problem
By the time monitoring surfaces the problem, the damage is done
AI agents are a target. A compromised or hijacked agent can act at machine speed, reading data, calling APIs and executing workflows before anyone notices. A cloned or impersonated agent can present itself as legitimate and operate with full permissions. A looping or misfiring agent can consume tokens and resources far outside its normal pattern before any alert fires.
By the time a monitoring tool surfaces the problem, the damage is done. Manual shutdown takes hours. The blast radius is already wide.
Containment that relies on human intervention is not containment.
How FIOR solves it
Verified before entry. Revoked in under a millisecond
FIOR verifies every agent’s identity at the TLS handshake using hardware-bound cryptographic certificates. An unknown, cloned or unregistered agent is refused before it makes a single call. The moment an agent breaches policy or shows the behavioural signature of a compromised one, FIOR revokes it across the entire estate in under a millisecond.
Verify before access
Trigger
A payments or trading agent requests access to a system of record such as core banking or order management.
Outcome
Only provably-identified agents reach the system. Impersonation is stopped at the door.
Contain a hijacked agent mid-task
Trigger
A prompt-injected or compromised agent starts acting outside its remit, attempting bulk data reads.
Outcome
Blast radius contained in milliseconds, not the hours a manual shutdown takes.
Cap a runaway agent
Trigger
An agent loops, misfires or is hijacked and begins consuming tokens or calls far outside its normal pattern.
Outcome
A looping or compromised agent is stopped before it burns budget or completes a harmful action. The cost spike is the early-warning signal.
